Define Macro Variable for Seed Command
Define macro variables for seed command in the Define Rules to Replace Macro Variable in Seed Command area.
- Click Add to define the macro variable for the seed command.

- Define the variable pattern, such as show ip bgp neighbors $ip. Once the variable pattern is defined, more settings are displayed for you to define, such as variable description, variable type, and default value.
- Define the Lookup data for macro variables.
- Lookup Data for Device in device-based replication mode: Define the value bound to the macro variable for decoding devices. You can set whether to use the default value or ADT value for intent decoding.

- Lookup Data for Path in path-based replication mode: The path variables and ADT variables are supported here.

- After the macro variable for seed command is defined, this variable is displayed under the Macro Variable tab in Full Settings for Intent Template.

Note: If the "Enable Neighbor Pair Replication" checkbox is chosen, the macro variables for both hub and spoke devices will be visible in the "Neighbor Pair" tab. Devices without assigned hub or spoke roles will still appear in the "Macro Variable" tab.
