Before you begin, ensure that NetBrain Front Server is installed and running on an EC2 instance in one AWS account.

This section uses the following terms:

Gateway Account: The AWS account that hosts the EC2 instance where the NetBrain Front Server is installed and running. This account can also be discovered by NetBrain.

Monitor Account: Any other AWS account whose resources you want NetBrain to discover. NetBrain accesses this account by using the EC2 instance in the Gateway Account to assume an IAM role created in the Monitor Account.
