Front Server cannot reach the Microsoft Azure Server Endpoints

Error Code: API-004-004

Description

If you see the following "Failed” messages when testing the API server, it normally represents the NetBrain Front Server network access issue. The Front Server cannot reach the Microsoft Azure Server Endpoints.

Troubleshoot

As mentioned in the Azure Quick Start Guide, request the customer to make sure the NetBrain Front Server machine can connect the 4 endpoints below:

Enable FQDN below on the firewall.

1. For authentication:
   • If you are using the service principle: https://login.microsoftonline.com/
   • If you are using managed identity: http://169.254.169.254/
2. For data fetching:
   • https://management.azure.com/

Collect Data:

• Feedback the connectivity result between the NetBrain Front Server machine and 4 Microsoft Server endpoints mentioned above.
