Discover Meraki Devices

The system discovers traditional devices using route tables and the NDP protocol. In contrast, Meraki devices are discovered through API-based integration. You can use the Meraki Dashboard API to discover Meraki devices in the system and visualize their device data and topology on dynamic maps.

Prerequisite: To ensure successful discovery of Meraki devices, enable API access in your Meraki Dashboard before starting the discovery process.

To discover and visualize Meraki devices, complete the following tasks:

1. Set up Meraki API Server in NetBrain
2. Discover Meraki devices in NetBrain
3. Set Up Benchmark Task to Auto-Update Meraki Device Data
