Preventive Automation Remediation

After enabling auto-remediation on ADT intents or golden intents, change tasks will be automatically created once these intents are executed. These tasks are generated based on the intent results and then await approval and execution, reducing manual effort in task creation and enhancing efficiency.

Use Case

An engineer has discovered a set of golden rules for VTY access-list in our domain. He has also built golden intents with remediation logic as follows.

1.  To navigate to the change runbook, click View Details and select a network change. (See Use PA Remediation for details on how to configure Preventive Automation Remediation)
    
2. These links will direct them to a change runbook with all the alert devices mapped out. The engineer can request approval and proceed with the batch fix procedure once it’s approved.
