Browse a Topology Link in Detail

  1. Log in to the Domain Management page.
  2. On the Domain Management page, select Topology Link Manager from the  start menu.

Update Source

The source that causes the update of the topology type, including

  • Manually rebuild
  • On-demand discovery
  • Scheduled discovery task
  • Server benchmark task
Total Topology LinkThe total number of links in the topology type.
Disabled Topology LinkThe total number of disabled topology links.
  1. Click the hyperlink in the Total Topology Link column of the target topology type. All the links in the selected topology type are listed on a new page. You can browse the following details of a topology link.

First Device
&Interface		The hostname of the first device and the corresponding interface name in the topology link.
Second Device
&Interface		The hostname of the second device and the corresponding interface name in the topology link. The interface name is empty if the first device connects to a media.
Media TypeThe type of media that connects to the first device. See Media for more details.

The contributor that leads to the creation of the topology link, which includes the following types:

  • System
  • Qapp
  • Plugin
  • Manually Add

and more.

The specific source used to create the topology link.

 

  • Common resources for L3 Topology Link include Interface IP Address, Qapp, Plugin, and more. If the topology link is created manually, this field displays the username who creates the topology link.
  • Common resources for L2 Topology include NDP Table, ARP Table, Configuration File (Device Interface), Qapp, and Plugin. If the topology link is created manually, this field displays the username who creates the topology link.
