Use Case: Triple Defense for Network Change Safety

Using NetBrain's Network Change Management helps ensure every change is safe, compliant and ready for rollback. 

You can build a real-time validation at three stages of a change in Runbook:

1. Before change: Verify design intent and catch issues early.
2. Execute change: Monitor live network behavior to detect unexpected impacts.
3. After change: Confirm the network remains stable and compliant.

Use Case: Optimize bandwidth for HTTPS traffic.  

• Update the QoS Policy: Modifying the router’s policy map to increase the Committed Information Rate (CIR) for traffic identified by Access List 193.
• Refine the Security Logic: Updating Access List 193 to explicitly permit HTTPS (port 443) traffic.
